Concert Today and last week!

Hello guys!

I haven't done much blogging in the past few weeks 'cos I was quite busy with school stuff...
Anyway, I had 2 concerts, one last Thursday and the other one today . We were accompanying a choir. We had to play Surfin' USA by Beach Boys. I think it's a good song. Basically what I played were simple rock 'n' roll riffs and chords, as played in the original song. Oh, and we played it in a different key. So we did that song on both concerts and that's all we did really... But it's something.

If you don't know , i recently uploaded a video of my Marshall MS2, which i made into a talkbox by now , using the Overdrive channel.

Thanks

New Guitar!

Hello guys,
I got a new guitar!-I got it from Reverb in Bristol... I've heard yesterday that they've just gone bust... the local shop where i live, went bust too. Pleas don't buy online! Pay a bit more for stuff and keep the great community of musicians together!-
The Epiphone Les Paul 1959 Standard which is a limited edition, only 1959 pieces were made in each finish- only two finishes available: Faded Cherryburst and Faded Iced Tea burst. Both colors look gorgeous.
I am filming the review and i will upload as soon as possible. Please Check Out my YouTube Channel!

Hello

Hello everyone,
I just started this blog so other guitarists can read it and get to know my experiences and thought of music and everything else that is to do with guitars.
First of all, my name is Dan I am from Hungary and I was 15 this year.I started to play guitar 2 years ago and I started out with a Squier(Fender)Bullet Strat. I always wanted to play guitar. It all started when I watched a concert video of Guns N Roses -I believe it was the Tokio Tour back in the 90's. The first time I watched it I was about ... I don't know 5-6 years old. I watched it for hours and I just somehow couldn't stop watching it,,, not really watching it bu hearing it. It was amazing.
The first time I heard Slash's guitar solos it was in the Godfather Theme, and I just loved the sound and the way he played, from that day on I always wanted to get a Gibson Les Paul (Back then,I didn't really know how much they cost :)) Of course now I now and I am saving up for one.
I moved to Wales . I started playing the guitar in 2008 and my teacher was an amazing guitarst called John Rodge.
I am now playing for 2 years and I think I'm doing quite well. I took Music as an option for my GCSEs.
I enjoy listening to Classic Rock,Metal,Rap(if it's good) and sometimes classical.
That's pretty much about myself and music.
